Micro-needling is a relative newcomer to the world of scalp treatment. The penetration by these needles allows the scalp to absorb a larger quantity of the topical treatments that prevent hair loss and promote hair regrowth. Research has shown that pretreating the scalp using microneedles, the scalp’s ability to absorb the topical treatment increases. It is also proven that the microneedling process itself stimulates the scalp and leads to hair regrowth.
